Ayurveda- The foundation of Indian culture

Every human being took birth on earth has desire to live a long and happy healthy life. Different diseases of body and mind are the obstacles to fulfill this desire and these obstacles are causative factors for dukkha (sorrows) of human beings. The ancient sages have thought a lot about these diseases, how to cure them and make the life of human beings healthy and happy. In their Samadhi state of mind they found Ayurveda is the only remedy for all these sorrows. By doing hard work, research, many minute observations they put forth Ayurveda for human beings. Ayurveda is an ancient Indian medical health science. So by following Ayurveda we can make whole world healthy and sorrow less.

“भिषजां साधुवृत्तानां भद्रमागमशालिनाम् ।
अभ्यस्तकर्मणां भद्रं भद्रं भद्राभिलाशिनाम्।।” अ.हृ.उ.40/77
In the above quotation Acharya Vagbhatt says Bhadra means kalyan, success, satisfaction, name and fame. The Vaidyas get Bhadra i.e. kalyan, success, satisfaction, name and fame who are practicing Ayurveda pure heartedly, who follows the path shown by our ancestors with decency. The Vaidya or human also get Bhadra who is thinking of bhadra for patients and human beings.
